Ready to join a group of practitioners who are as keen as you are about EFT?
Looking for support for challenges with clients or building your business?
Wanting to break the isolation that practitioners can face?
Then mentoring groups are for you!
These groups fulfill your 6-hour EFT International mentoring requirement.
We schedule four in case you need to miss one - you'll still get your six hours, and will be able to watch the recording of the session you missed.
Your group will have between 4-8 people. I do my best to put people with similar experience levels in the same groups. And if you really gel with your group, we can arrange a follow-up series of calls.
You'll be connected with me and each other between calls through a private online discussion group. You can use it to ask questions, share a win between sessions, or just chat with your fellow group members! I'll post our session recordings and any content I've shared with you there.
How does group EFT mentoring work?
We meet approximately every 4-6 weeks for two hours over Zoom. Prior to the first session, we'll pick our scheduled call dates and times.
Before each session, I'll ask for you to share a couple of areas you want to focus on. This could be things like:
- How and when to do Tell the Story vs not
- How to work with a client who can't feel their emotions
- How to get more clients
- Review of intake forms, informed consent, and agreements
- Art of delivery for gentle techniques
- A unique and specific case you're working with
- An ethical concern
- How to spot psychological reversal
- ...and just about anything else EFT-related!
We start with a group check in and intention-setting. Then each person gets time to share a win, a challenge and their questions. I provide personal mentoring on these questions, while the other group members are free to take notes and "borrow benefits." Each person chooses a small, achievable, and motivating goal to work toward in their practice.
Depending on the themes that have emerged in the session, the remaining time will be spent diving deeper on those themes to help build your professional expertise. We may discuss case studies, run some mini practice sessions in breakout rooms where I can observe and provide feedback, watch a video together, do a training exercise, have a group discussion, and so on.
Please note that I don't lead us through tapping as a way of improving our performance. I see these as two separate things: tapping for working on your personal development with you in the role of a a client, and mentoring as receiving information, teaching, insights and allowing the group to share the same - connecting as peers. I prefer not to blur these lines as I think it can lead to messy and confusing relationships, as well as take up time that is needed to work on skill development.
Of course I encourage tapping and will hold space for any insights that need to arise as to what personal work would be helpful. And, that said, I do like to do some uplifting tapping to raise the energy at the start and/or end of our calls. :)
And because you're connected with your group members, you're free to connect with each other for session swaps or group tapping to clear any blocks you've identified.
Group Mentoring Fees
The groups are $75CAD plus tax per 2-hour class. So in total, it's $300CAD plus tax for the whole series. The mentoring fees are due before the first session, and can be paid by credit card or e-transfer.
Already have a group of people in mind?
Do you already have a group of 4 - 8 colleagues that you'd like to do mentoring with? Then please get in touch - I'd be happy to work together with you.
Looking for supervision or personalized mentoring?
If you'd like me to review a recording of one of your sessions, or work with you one-to-one in a personalized way, then you'll want to do individual mentoring instead. You can learn more about that here.
